Red River Crossing, recorded in 1998, is the third and final piece of the trilogy. Combining piano and synthesizers, Red River Crossing incorporates gentle melodies on top of rich layers of sound, creating a unique blend of music that is simple, yet deep. Red River Crossing represents the culmination of a period of growth and discovery in Marshall's work.

Marshall Styler, for whom art is perhaps what gives meaning to his life, never ceases to amaze us with his narrative music that transmits to the audience real as well as imaginary stories. These stories in a musical form are comparable to movie soundtracks, and stimulate the imagination of the listener to re-create the facts and sceneries that the music suggests. "Red River Crossing" is a precious collection of melodic instrumental pieces played with piano and electronic keyboards. All the compositions are dominated by a romantic character, with rich orchestrations and symphonic elements. In short, this is contemporany instrumental music of the best quality.
